Hello everyone I'm Mitch been a member for over a year but its been that long since I was last on this site "lost password". I'd like to introduce myself. I've been riding three wheelers for about a decade. I mostly stick to the Dunes in southern and central California with the occasional desert ride. I've got an ever growing collection of bikes. Really like the site and hope to meet up with some of you next year in Glamis or Pismo.

Welcome!
You have one of the Best Engine Builders in the World in your back yard. Curtis Sparks. Most people think of him as a 4 stroke guy but he can build an awesome 2 stroke.
I ran his 2 stroke motors in the early 90's on my quad and they were the fastest most reliable on the track.

I didn't even know Sparks still did work. The website didn't have a shop address. I was planning on sending my topend to BDT motorsports but if I have have local alternatives I'd reconsider. Where are they located ?

Tankk you for the info. I have since been doing considerable research on Curtis Sparks. I thought they pretty mcuh just did big bore kits and pipes. Seems like i was uninfromed. Lots of history to read up on. Hopefully I can get some work done on the 250r.
