Hello friends, there are some really cheap China carbs on E-bay. Has anyone had and luck with these things?

I bought one knock off WALBRO carb for my weed eater project and it was OK. It works but its clearly visible even though they appear the same definitely not the same quality. I did it cause the rebuild kit was $12 and the new Carb was $16 and I didn't have to mess with it. Next time I'd probably just rebuilt mine.

I've had no issues with the Chinese carbs I've used. Just pay attention to what you're ordering. My first one wasn't threaded for the throttle cable adjuster, so I had to mod it a little bit. Also take it apart to both make sure it's clean as well as verify it has the correct jets. It doesn't work magic though - what symptoms are you having leading you to a new carb.

This has been beat to death here. The short of it is "your mileage may vary."
If your original carb is not damaged or missing pieces and slide not worn you should consider cleaning and rebuilding. If your not willing to tackle a tear down and rebuild then try a China carb, most all of us have at one time or another.

They are great. Mine is atleast. I've been running one on my 84 110 for a few months now. It's great. I've had no problems with it.

Ive got one on my 83 110. I replaced the jets with my stock one and has been great so far for the money.

No. I bought 2 off the bat thinking easy fix. Both were crap from the start & thought maybe I did something wrong. Spent another $16 bucks or whatever it was (from another eBayer) got same result. Keep in mind took a perfectly running carb to just double just myself and fired 1st pull, wasn't intake boot. Well 3rd one was the same as the first two.

If it were me.. Find a stock carb (if you don't already), buy a carb rebuilt kit and be done with it. Costs the same.

What kind of machine you looking to replace carb on?
