I looked all over but I cant seem to find the float to base of carburetor height on my 82 250R. I really know nothing of what was done to this before I purchased it in a none running condition. My issue is when I send fuel to the carb fuel starts to come out of the over flow. I took the carb out and made sure it was all clean and it is, jets included. Only thing I noticed is the fuel inlet needle has very short travel. Im wondering if the float height is off. maybe one of you guys have a idea or documentation to help?
Thanks Rich

I was never able to get it from kbonly's site. I had to download mine from "air foolers .com"
Just be sure you have the correct 1982 carb. Carb swaps are popular with these trikes.
The 82 carb should be a 30mm PE Kehin

Actually I think I'm wrong, the 83 84 R's had 30mm the 81 82 was 27mm? I can't remember exactly…

Those floats look like the ones in the manual. I'd say your probably good. I bought my 82 with an 84 engine and carb that's why I got confused.
