I have asilencer that seems to be stopped up I put it on my bike and it wont crank but if I take it off crank straight up. I took the silencer off and poured gas into it and tried to pour it out nothing but a few drops came out. Its a used silencer I bought off ebay. I guess old trash from.sitting up.. anyone can helped me on how to fix this problem. 1982 honda atc 250r

Why would anyone buy a rebuildable part and not even rebuild it? All it would cost you is maybe $12 and that is for packing and rivets to put together if rivets are required!!

Rebuild it. It's pretty straight forward.

Look up rebuilding a 2 stroke silencer on YouTube. Once you see how easy it is, I bet you won't be able to break down and pay someone $40 to do it.

if its a round silencer and has no lettering on it saying spark arrestor or us forestry service on it etc, then you should be able to see straight thru it . . if you can't then the tube is plugged.
the gas may have just soaked into the fiberglass packing so it couldn't come out the other end anyway . hard to say.
