I wanted a place to put my cylinder head temp gauge and some switches and stuff on the front of my big red.
I to keep it clean I followed the lines of the front headlight protector rack with a piece of steel plate.

after hours of cutting to get the holes just right this is the dash installed with the gauge, switch and hour meter.
this is a complete fresh topend so I thought the hour meter would be neat to have. thanks for checking it out.

Very cool. How long have you had your machine?
You have to be careful as they tend to multiply.

hey thanks guys. the temp sensor is located on the bottom side of the head. on the back. fits right in the fins and cant see it. im still playing with the resistances to get the readings right. I just want a baseline at what temp my bike runs at.

Did I see a dipstick with an oil temp gauge on it?

Definitely keep us posted BRR. Nice work BTW! I've been looking at some thermostatically controlled cooling fans for my Honda powered golf cart that come on at 190 degrees. The probe is designed to fit in the rad fins. I'm thinking air cooled get a lot hotter.
