i have a 1984 ytm 255dx I'm not sure what carb is on it my clymer manual says mikuni vm22 but I was told it's a vm24 on here. I need to know weather the choke plunger and cable are the same for both carbs and somewhere to find them. I've seen on eBay a couple carbs that have a lever choke which I'm not opposed too but don't know if they will fit/work any advice would help. Here are a couple carbs I found on eBay.

The vm22 and vm24 use the same choke plunger assembly. A lot of carbs use that similar style just different plungers. Not sure if any others will work

I get mixed reports, if you do get one use the oem jets.
