yamaha 225dx

I just picked up a 225dx from a guy at work. I'm trying to get the electric start to work. I hooked a new battery up to the bike, but can't seem to find the negative lead for the battery. Does it not have one? The positive lead is there but no negative. Please tell me I'm not going crazy. Thanks

The negative lead just grounds straight to the frame. I think it's only about 6-7" long, so pretty easy to make a new one if yours is missing.

yes the 225 dx and dr both have electric start, the 200 yamahaulers do as well
