The homemade swinger doesn't look stout enough for a long life. Had he used a Fat Cat or Big Wheel swing arm, it would be stronger, bolt-on, and make it able to return to 3-wheel.

It still looks not too bad. I would ride that thing. Not for $1,000. I would rather it whole as a trike, it makes it more valuable. Plus you can properly use the reverse. But neat.
