CDI Box for 1984 Kawasaki KLT 250.

I checked with the nearest Kawasaki dealer and their price on an OEM CDI Box is $458.00. Anyone aware of another option. I am a little suspicious of used boxes. I hear that this is a weak component on these machines.

you can probably just buy a $5.00 - $15.00 chinese "universal" box off ebay and wire it in . . lots of guys do that on their hondas . . buy 2 in case 1 dies.
