I just recently picked up this atc 90 for $100. It runs and rides great and is all original. I am unsure if the rear rack is a Hondaline part or not. Can anyone very this. And on another note lets see some pics of your 90s!! Thanks.210167210168210169210170

That's a $500-600 machine in my books, very nice. Now get that brake cable under the tank where it belongs before you mess up the paint job ;-) The rack looks like it belongs there, but I don't know for sure. I've got lots of 90 pics in my album if you want to check out my stable.

Coolpool i know what you mean haha. the tanks needs to be cleaned out and I placed it there just for the picture, the cable was neatly tucked under before. It will receive a full restoration back to mint shape. I don't think I really like the rack but if it's meant to be there I will put it back. And oh ya I feel soooo bad haha. The guy I bought it from found it in a barn along with 4 Harley snowmobiles and a 32 ford that has no rust and is all original.

The only problem that I'm having is that when the light is on the high setting it works great, when turned to dim I have no light. And then when I shut the light it shuts everything. Is this how they were or is there a wire hooked up wrong?

Ok you light is working correctly completely off the switch acts like a kill switch. When its in the middle position that means run but no lights. the last position is run with lights. There is no high low beam on this trike. I don't really understand why you would want the light switch to work in this manner but that's just how Honda designed it.

Thank you for that info 86125m. Anyone have the same bike that works the same as far as the light goes. Short line that is one sweet trike!

I am restoring a 1976 for a friend. Yes 86115 told you exactly correct on the light switch. While there is a wire for the "bright" on the bulb, I think the stator on the points trikes only put out 6 volts.

Just so you know, the little wires soldered on the small copper terminals are very prone to coming off. Be careful with the switch if you remove it.

I might snap a couple pics of the one I'm currently working on. All I have left to do is the fenders.

I will verify with the shop manual on the years that had the switch positions like you describe but I'm almost certain the 78 is the same as the 76

Wow that is coming out great. Mine will also get the same treatment. And mines looks to have never had anything played with so the wiring shouldn't have been messed with so that's gotta be how it is. I am currently working on this alt 50. The 90 is next. Here is where I'm at with the alt. 210281 you will have to click on the pic to make it look normal.

Wow, nice score. Don't know how I missed this one. What's the story behind finding this barn find? Was it listed for sale, or did you find it through someone you knew?
