I'm new to the site been scowering the internet looking for the best alternative carb for my trimoto. Didn't find much other than a yfb250 carb kit fit great other than the main jet it came with and 89. All cleaned and adjusted 1.5 out with stock 112.5 main 20 pilot no change.looking for what anyone else has modded or adapted. Moto 4 350 carb work? Adapters? Sorry I'm just so frustrated I love this trike its the third one I've owned and would like to enjoy it instead of pulling the cord thousands of times for only 10 seconds of running thank you and take it easy on me if I didn't follow the grammar rules.

Test the compression, clean the carb, check/clean air filter, check/clean spark plug, change oil, get a battery so you can use the electric starter. There is tons of things you can do to get it running sweet. Gotta figure out the problem first. Is it hard to pull? Does the choke work? have you taken apart the carb and given it a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner and compressed air? How long have you owned the trike? You should be able to figure out what is making it sick. Need more info.

there really isn't an alternative direct fit carb, search 225 carb issues and you will find a ton of info on them, alot which myself and others have provided. they are not bad carbs once you know the little tricks to them.

Couldn't a 250 Timberwolf or Beartracker carb be made to work?

The heads are almost identical.

thing with those are they are almost the exact same carb, so it not really an alternative, there are some chinese knock offs out there on eBay, but there is mixed reactions to those, either way if you are running a stock machine, then you are most likely going to have to put your original jets in a new carb

Chinese 225 carb? I've never seen one of those. You have a link? I'm Curious. I've got about 4 oem backups though. Salvage yard finds lol. They don't go too cheap on eBay.
