I would hope that he was thinking NOS is OEM. From seeing a lot of parts listed on ebay I have have come to realize that a lot of people on ebay doesn't know what NOS stands for.

That's a lot of shelf wear ....Nos is a term thrown around a lot....Needs to be a ebay craigs list tutoral....and the most over used term MINT ..

I believe there is a second definition for NOS, which this is described as. It's New-Old-Stacked. It was once new, is now old, and had a bunch of stuffed stacked on it in between
