86 Atc125m project questions

I recently acquired a 1986 Honda Atc125m and I got a 185s engine with it . The 125 is a rolling chassis, with no rear fenders or seat. I was wondering if anyone else has done an engine swap on one of these, and how hard it would be. It doesn't clear as it is, the head hits the top bar on the frame and the carburetor doesn't clear. i dunno if it is just because of the mounts or if i would have to cut and extend the top of the frame.
Any ideas?

without pics of what you have, no one would have any way of determining what you have going on exactly. when people swap engines, they sometimes do some crazy things. get out a tape measure. if you can fit the engine in the frame while keeping the carb somewhat level and also clear, then you are in business. if not, then you will have to do some cutting. also try to make sure the oil drain plug remains pointed straight down at lowest point if you relocate the motor, or if they located it poorly...
