Yes - Loncin and Lifan. I put a Loncin in mine:

210961

210962

210963

210964

210965

"Bolt in" depends on how you define it. The engine bolts in the frame and the chain lines up and the intake and exhaust ports are in the same place.
I had to "clearance" a frame tube under the engine because the drain plug was hitting.
I had to trim the Loncin sprocket cover to fit.
The engine mounts/bolt/spacers fit perfectly.
You'll never be able to use the kick starter.

Once the engine is in, you need to figure out:
- battery box (I used a 400EX box I think and I welded tabs to the frame to mount it)
- wiring (I built a custom harness - sounds harder than it is)
- rear brakes (I used 350X pedal parts)

210966

210967

210968

210969

I paid $180 for a near 0 hour dirt bike donor. The engine is a 192cc I think with OHV not OHC. I really only used the engine/carb/ignition from the bike and trashed the rest. Took me 6 months of CL searching to catch a great deal.

This 200X had a Bassani pipe and would walk all over my tired stocker.

The e-start spoils you fast.

I believe the Loncins and Lifans are the same thing with different labels/badges stuck on at the end of the production line.

It was a great trail bike but I eventually sold it and use my 250R or 350X in the dunes because I'm heavy and sand rewards power.

I hear a CRF230 engine bolts in but they're EXPENSIVE and you still need to sort out brakes/battery/wiring. Would be a kick-ass setup though.

The 250es (Big Red) has a shaft drive and if I'm right, the 200es may too.
