Okay. Runs good. Idles good. However if u snap the the throttle very quickly it stalls then picks up fine. Also likes to take its time returning to idle. The pilot jet controls air right?

The pilot jet supplies fuel at idle to about 1/3 throttle.

Air fuel mixture screw needs to be 1.5 - 2 turns outI've got that set. Just trying to figure out why it hesitates and takes a while to return to idle.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Wouldn't that cause a high idle all the time?

Main jet is prob worn out. They are cheap. But since it's open get all new jets and clean it out.

Air leaks cause a number of problem one being hard to tune a carb. Are you using an airbox and filter?

Ok. Choke plunger was missing. Had a spare. Idles great. Runs great but still has the hesitation at a quick snap of the throttle. Seems to be getting better though
