Damn! That guy is so fast I didn't even see him change his tires! Seriously, I couldn't lift the nut sack it takes to accelerate down a slope like that. Right up there with his Vegas jump, the guy is AMAZING!!!!

Not to steal Robbie's thunder, but I think I got about 12" inches of air under my wheels at some point last weekend:naughty::w00t: (or maybe it was my skid plate:wondering) Then I hit a log and flung my head and shoulder into a tree and have had a headache and sore back since. Lots of snap, crackle & pop sounds in the mornings lately and it ain't my Rice Crispies:(

I've been told there DOES come a time we must slow down. I adhered to that years ago. You seem to be fighting it very hard... You're chiropractor must be a rich man ;)...Or woman...

Have had both. Crazy thing is that after years of driving up to Texas to see the last lady and being hooked up to these electric stimulators, snapped and popped and such one particularly bad day she tells me to get a deep tissue massage from a student therapist. The kid was about 6'-2" and ripped (no, this is not a gay porn story). Without even asking me where the pain was he managed to find it in a matter of minutes and then went nuts on the spot. Freaking guy was putting all his weight on his elbow and bouncing up and down right on the muscle that I'd torn about 20 tears earlier trying to fill a 5 gallon water jug from a public showerhead without getting wet. Got to about 4 gallons and then something (my back) ripped and I had to be carried back to the campsite.

Anyway, he had me screaming and swearing at him for about 10 minutes. At one point I thought I was going to lose control of my bowels it hurt so bad. When I was over I hobbled to my truck thinking he'd almost killed me. I felt dizzy, my vision was off and I was in pain. 30 minutes later I realized I'd never felt better. Haven't been back since, but I will admit to consuming a lot of Advil after each ride these past few years.

Forget slowing down. If we do that we die. I turn 49 in a month, but until something breaks that can't be fixed I'm going to keep riding. I will however be keeping the jumps under 12 inches from now on:)

OMT,,,Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy. We've been wise to them for years. They do get a crack here and there, but they are doing it by loosening up the muscles holding everything in the wrong place. It is imperative you drink a Ton of water right after. Your muscles dump all sorts of really bad toxins while and after they work you. I have learned a couple techniques lately. Laying on my back, fold legs, hold onto knees tightly and roll back and forth ,like sit ups. ALL sortsa cracking and snapping in the spine. Preferably followed up by hottub.Keeps me all loosened up....We sit down we die. I agree.

My vertigo flared up just watching that video. I am not afraid of heights, it is the sudden lack of them that makes my sphincter pucker.

Amen brother, it's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop right after:lol:

Bill, you are so right about the fluids. I was taught long ago drink water till you can't the day before, during and after. This last trip we went to about 9,000ft. Not sure if you're familiar with the effects of being well hydrated when you climb rapidly, but I stopped about 10 times to wizz in less than 3 hours. I've read it's a good sign, buy my riding buddy recommended a urologist.;)

My favorite is when you crash and the trike or bike lands on you to help you slow down!

Then you can't breath for what seems like 20 minutes!

Shouldn't we just bowl or play pool???.........NO!
