hi everyone, there's a guy who wants to trade his 1981-82 110(with title) for my 1982 185s(no title). the 110 looks really good but the guy tells me the carb needs to be adjusted and the oil changed because sometimes the gears are slipping.... i'm interrested with the trade because i dont have the papers for my 185s and its missing alot of parts... but it runs great!

the 110's got the title but there's work to do on it! is it a good deal? i'm a little afraid because of the slipping gears..could also be really simple to fix! i need your advices. thanks!

Post a close up picture of the 185 that way we can get an idea of the condition. As of right now I'm not seeing as to why you would want to do the trade. Don't get me wrong, I love my 110. But that tank and the problems he mentioned isn't sealing the deal for me.

Now if you have other trikes and just want something new to play around on then sure. As long as your happy.

Hells no man. So what about papers ! Ive never heard changing oil stops a motor from popin out of gear. No deal man . trailprotrailpro 185 by the look of the pics is atleast a 500 dollar machine if brakes and motor are good. Better deals will come if u want another 110 . I love all 4 of mine.

You know what you have but you don't really know what the other guy has. Screw the papers, it's a 30 year old machine and it looks greats. You can't put that on paper...

None of my bikes have papers. I have my dads trike he got brand new in 85 and who knows where the title is.

If you really care about having a title, you can still get one. Hope is not lost. Your 185 looks good, keep it. You'll regret it.

I wouldn't trade any of my bike for another bike because of this reason. I know what wrong with my bike and what its going to take to fix them. But if i traded for a bike that I really know nothing about then its worthless to me. same if I strait up bought another bike It may have problems but I would still have my good bikes until it gets fixed.
