250 SX carb question

What carb upgrades works best on 250sx using the same throttle and choke cable if possible.

350X is the only carb. Its the same QA series carb as the SX just bored larger. The TRX 250 carb is also the same series but I haven't been able to get it to run on the SX unless I block off about 50% of the intake. What's your issue?

I would just leave it stock, but maybe you could get bigger jets? Just keep searching around, hopefully you find something.
