hello everyone im new here and I just picked up a 85 tecate and I was wondering if u can take paint off of the plastics because the original owner painted everything or if anyone knows where I can get a good used set or new thanks

I haven't tried this myself, but others here have used oven cleaner. Try the search feature, you will find multiple threads on the subject.

Aluminum rear fender bracket bought from the 3ww shop, it's out of stock now.

I've used wet sanding start at 400 grit sand paper and a lot of elbow grease until the paints removed. Then go up a hundred grit go over it all....then up a hundred .....etc until smooth

WEll what I posted above was from the classifieds that you cant view for 2 months.
Now that I think about it, instead of helping a buyer and seller, I am circumventing their whole system and the mods could get pissed at me. My bad. I will just post a message to the seller next time and let them decide.
