So I'm thinking with all the 110 parts I have floating around I am going to try to make one that is a lot different than stock. I'm thinking maybe a custom forks with suspension and different motor. My question is whether anyone has put a different motor in a 110 frame, or if with the way the motor hangs from the frame it is nearly impossible to swap much else in? I know of a lot of snowmobile motors and such I can get but they all mount from the bottom. I'm not sure how though it would be to build a basket to hang something from or if the frame would be to weak to support anything much heavier than stock. Thanks for any thoughts!

Take a look at this thread first for your frame question. I have yet to break a frame but I don't go crazy. Just small jumps here and there.

It is possible, I've seen Chinese lay down motors in ATC 90 frames before so the 110 would be very similar. In fact I'm running a Piranha 150cc motor in my US90 and it's a beast. Wouldn't recommend that kind of hp in a stock stamped metal frame though if you ride it hard. Mine has a Dickson Design Sprint tube frame with a 2" stretch and it's a wheelie machine. Can't imagine how tricky it would be to ride the shorter wheelbase with a beefy motor in it. Mine has 200x front forks too which helps but they are usually up in the air, LOL. :naughty:
Not mine but one I saw on ebay with a Chinese motor in stock stamped frame with no front motor support.

There was a Craig's list ad, let me see if it is still up. Very nice custom work. Posted back in February.
"what I have here is one awesome atc70
Built the bike Awhile back and came out great
Took an atc70 and bonded with a pit bike
Has a true Lifen 140 vary quick
Has extremely sharp studed tires with tubes
For ice running
You could easily take the studs out for summer
And run the same tires
Has aftermarket bars
Oil cooler
Pillow grips
Air adjustment shocks "

Thanks for the help, it is just kind of a back burner idea for now. We have a nice mild trail from the old rail road tracks that I like to ride, but the trikes I have fall behind everyone else. Not any jumps and not much rough riding, unless I get on it hard, which doesn't happen often.
