I have a 1983 Honda ATC110, it was running fine, but the carb bowel was leaking, so I got a new carb, same thing, japanese heikean or something it says on it. Looks same except petcock is on bowel.

I got it to start and held the rev down for a second but died quick.

what I am asking is what should the 2 mixture screws be set at, how many turns from lightly tight closed.

Came from ebay new, and I didn't count turns on old carb before tossing it.=(

Just checked the Ebay Rebuilt on my 83 110 which is running perfect: 2.5

Also last night fattened it up and raised the needle up one notch; the one with five settings. Was in the middle, now next to the fattest and it did make it run better.

So turn both idle/air and idle/gas out 2.5 turns from lightly seated(all the way clockwise)?
I dont know what you mean five settings?

The 2.5 is the screw to the left of the Idle Set Screw.

The needle is this: Was rebuilt on 3 and I went to 4 last night.

So, I set the screw on left(gas screw?) 2.5 turns out and then the idle air set screw in the middle from close to open.

so 2.5 on the left screw out and the center idle air screw set in the middle between open and closed?
