Did you remove everything else off of the swinger? Axle, shock, etc... something has a . Bind on it

I still have most the stuff on the swing arm. shocks out. I've had one guy wiggle the swing arm as another guy sledges it while another two guy hold the trike frame....

Just cut the Swingarm bolt out and buy a new one . The bearing spacer gets stuck to the bolt .

You can use a 400ex swingarm bolt once you get it out. I had to cut one out myself.

Heres what I do. It works and the bolt can be reused

A lot of people have been there...PB blaster, removing any and all weight off the bolt, working it back and forth while pulling on it, hitting it with 5 pound hammer and drift, vise grip and hammer, cutting, welding, slide hammer, and so on. It can be frustrating.

Same idea, works well, Im using a steel block that weighs 20+ lbs. That sledge is around 8 lbs but im sure it works.

Once you do get it out (using whatever method works) slather the bolt with anti-seize compound before reassembly. This will prevent the issue in the future.

I need to try some of these methods on my 84 200x. I have a new bolt but If I can save the one in it would be nice. Right now I don't need to take it out bearings are still good.

Hey Tom, is that rod threaded into your bolt or welded? I like that idea!

I welded it. When you thread them they pull out if its a stubborn bolt. After its out you cut off the slide and grind the end of the bolt smooth again.

If the bolt is mushroomed from beating on it you 1st have to cut off the mushroom then use the slide to pull it. Those bolts cant be reused.

Thanks! Still the best way I have seen.

Get creative. Try a weight from a bar bell set. They have a hole in them already. You can also try going to a local tool rental yard and rent the largest slide hammer they have. Those slides are usually threaded on the end. If so go to your hardware supply and get a bolt that threads into the slide hammer. Weld that bolt to the swing arm bolt and slide it out. ....Just a couple of options for ya to try. Good luck.
