More power in the '85 250es

So i bought an 85 250 es shaft drive, the top end was in parts, no clue why, none the less checking the valves and the cylinder itself is all rusted inside so i'll need to get it honed. Anybody know the max mm i can get? And what could i do (or buy) for the cams? Might as well get as much power as i can from this baby. I got fox shocks for the rear, a full FMF from my ktm 450 snorkeled and pro taper bars so far.
