I'm looking to gear my 84 200M to the specs of a 200X. From what I've found, stock is 11/47 and I'm looking for 12/40 with 22" tires. Any help locating them? Any reason not to do this? Thanks!

I was going to reference the same company lol. Long ago my dad geared down a 350 warrior quad with their sprokets, 11/52 orm was 13/40. Never worn them out mud bogging with 28 inch outlaw tires in a sports quad.

If i did my math right, your planned gear swap will increase the ratio by around 28%. I'm assuming the factory tires were 25inch which is around 13.6% change, so overall somewhere around 15% increase in gearing. If you are purely looking for higher top end speed it would do it, but you will loose a bit of speed in normal trails, or you will have to keep it in a lower gear than normal.
