snorkel?

I was wondering if anyone ever put a snorkel on a 84 honda 200m. How much of a pain was it? How well did it work? And was it worth the trouble?

Most folks use pvc but not sure how.
Stock air intake is under the tank, I think, so water will almost cover the seat
the way it is.
There's a great ad for yamaha with a trike underwater but I can't
seem to find it.
