View Full Version : NEED HELP with my Yamaha 175 tri-moto

hello I am new to the board and have got 9 trikes and a couple problems and the major one is with my yamaha..
I got a 175 tri moto 2 stroke and when i start it it will go straight to screaming and when i play with the idle screw or air it wont change.?:crazy:

Might be crud in the carb jets, maybe an airleak at carb boot or intake, throttle adjustment, carb slide return spring, internal air leak. Leak test the motor.

You might want to check to see if the slide in the carb is down on the idle screw and make sure the idle screw isn't screwed all the way in. That is usually where I start first. Awesomedad
