Some things never die. They just get parked in strange places for
an inordinant amount of time.

At least someone was mindful enough to strap a life vest to this thing. It may be what saved it...

I believe that is what is known as a "trolling rig". Pretty amazing pictures!

I'm wondering what it cost to raise that thing and how the hell he got it that far in?

I think it was Bush and Cheney,,,seriously,,,,I assume it came off a barge? Looks to be a frac rig for drilling?

Probably about 25k, just an honest guess. I know for me, my 2 guys, boat, and equipment, they are looking at around 10k. Not a cheap screw up.

Close, its a cementing unit, and it was not properly secured to a barge and simply rolled off. You would be surprised how often stuff like this happens down here. Ive had to spend many days, nights, and weekends dealing with Shiite like this. I figured yall would find it interesting.

What do you guy think? Empty the bowl, clean the plugs, change the oil... It should fire right up right???
I'm sure someone lost there job for this one. Well, I'm off now, thanks for helping me kill some time. I'll start a new one next time I stumble upon something worth it.

I'm sure there was some Israelis involved too. And possibly a little thermite.

Incredible. Pretty sure it's just 10K just to get a regular pick up out of the drink up here when fines are factored in. I'd say 25K would be in the ball park. What does that barge and (300 ton?) crane bill out per hour? How in heck does a tractor unit roll off a barge? Sounds like someones air brake ticket needs to be pulled for poorly adjusted brakes.
