2014 ram, 2500.
Used, 9k miles
6.4 hemi, Diablo chip, bds lift, 37" x13.5x22, magnaflow, blackout
Sitting next to the summer ride. Quite an upgrade from a 2010 frontier
Ford is on 35" with 6" lift for reference

Nice combo! My vote goes for the old iron though. I lean toward nostalgic every time. It's a curse ;-)

Wouldn't trade it for the ford. That ford has 2x the hp and torque. The ford is parked
when the snow flys. The last truck rusted out. I need to figure out a good undercoat sealant. I heard there is some hot wax process. Will see

They are both beautiful trucks! Nice to know that some folks can appreciate vehicles for their merits, and not just their age or appearance.

Not sure what you are getting at? It is an original D0VE block but with the re-bore, the pan was changed. Frankly, I don't remember capacity.

Glamy is just getting after a few things that Barnett likes to say and get after. Especially in oil debates.

Ford is fun, it does have a nice sound. That was in cab with windows up, I shoulda rolled them down.

For me I like the late 70's fords, 1988 or so style of the Chevy, early 60's power wagon or these later model rams

Went for a trial fit in regards to garage, I think it will be close....

Nah, nothing a little horsepower, a saws all and some liquor won't fix ;-) Do I spy dozer tracks on asphalt behind the truck! eek!

Badass trucks! It sounds stupid, but I've mentioned before that to protect underneath I start with a heavy double spray of black rustoleum...then a few times a year when I'm working under it re-apply. Not high dollar or professional by any means, but it kept my '87 El Camino and '87 K5 cancer free.

Incidentally, are you a Doctor? I only ask because of the MD behind your screen name.

Thx for rust advise. I have been following your posts. I used por15 on the ford. For the dodge, I sorta wanted to avoid the painted look but I may have to do as u say.

Cool, good eyes, that is a parts machine that I am tearing down to swap rollers, idlers, etc to my very well worn runner
