New here to 3wheelerworld. Just bought my first 3 wheeler, A nice 1983 Honda 200ES. Thought I'd join for some assistance! Any would be appreciated! It won't start. I take that back, it won't stay running. Y electric start doesn't work so I'm pulling myself to death with it. I've got all the plastic taken off for easy access. Fresh gas and seafoam in the tank just in case. New plugs. Starting fluid. Couple pulls and it fires right up. Sputters and chugs for like 10-30 seconds then dies. Any recommendations on how to keep her going?!

Welcome to the site.

Have you pulled the carb to inspect it for crud build up? It almost sounds like your choke might be stuck open or your carb is just dirty, might want to pull it and clean it up.

Pull your spark plug as well and take a look at the tip.

Thanks Markturbo! That is my plan tonight. The spark plug is about a year old, and it never ran in that year so I just assumed it was good. Im taking that out tonight to check it out. I'll let you know how that goes! Thanks again for the help.
