Alright guys just picked up a 1984 honda 200es big red. Electric start motor needs rebuilt so doesnt work. I have no battery in it either but the pullstart only starts it if i have jumper cables hooked up to it. It will continue to run when unhooked. Now with it running and jumper cables removed there is no power at the positive side of battery cable, there is power on both sides of both fuses by the battery box. There is also proper current from stator. Just stumped because it should still pullstart with no battery hooked up. Any help appreciated.
