Got myself a Yamaha ytm 200. Wondering what would be the best stuff to get to make this sucker a mudding machine. Tires and rims I know are going to be a must what would you recommend. Also is there any way to increase the ground clearance on these things. Thanks in advance.

A snorkel wouldn't be a bad idea, and make sure all seals are in good shape.

Yep definitely a snorkel and I'll check over the seals.

Did you get a chain or a shaft driven 200?

It is chain drive

You could get some different sprockets and give it some more low end power. Especially if it's only going to be used for mud and not used for anything speed related.

It's got a 11 and 42 combo and it seems pretty low

if you are looking for height clearance I would go with the 25-12-9 rims and tires that are on some of the ytm 200's I had a chain drive model with them.

here's one they are a four bolt so if you have the three you will need a new front hub, but it is a direct fit using your three bolt hub spacers and axle. http://www.ebay.com/itm/83-84-85-YAMAHA-TRI-MOTO-200-YTM200-REAR-STEEL-WHEEL-RIM-3-LUG-STRAIGHT-/111684546006?hash=item1a00eaedd6&vxp=mtr Also you will need the four bolt rear hubs which I also happen to have.

or you can keep the 22" wheel and have slightly better steering on it, as it will be a narrower tire.

I've got a four bolt hub in the front and the bolt hubs in the back.
