According to: http://atcvin.webs.com/ it does come as a 1985 ATC 250R, but that doesnt really confirm what the last digit is.

It's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. You will be one number off from the actual production number at worst. Instead of trike number 3302, you might have 3303 or vice versa.
