1985 tri z 60 clutch adjustment?

Just picked up this little jewel,it runs great but the guy "claims" to have had the clutch adjusted so that it would slip and slow down for his kids....I'm no kid,need her to stop slipping so that I can potentially skin myself up! Thanks for the help

I don't know how he could have done that except for putting weaker springs in there. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think the seller is full of crap. Why would somebody do all that with the internals of the engine when putting the thumb throttle limiter screw back into the thumb throttle will work better, is basically free, and is adjustable?

check the rear hubs and see if the splines are wiped.....that will cause slippage ask me how I know
