Just saw the no reserve auction out of Illinois and wondered the same thing as it is a very nice survivor Tecate with what looks to be 99% oem parts right down to the document holder.

Nstyle?

Does anyone here believe that one at the dealer that was torn apart and parts replaced everywhere actually brought that money? I certainly do not! Just curious!

I sold that one to the owner, that has it now.

It's a very nice bike, and looks like he found the few stock parts I didn't have on it.

Not 7k Like the last one..... Wonder why that one went SO damn high.... Location? Or people caught in bidding war?

Now there is another up for sale!
I'm going to guess this new one goes for 2,500.

Still can't figure out how that one went for 7k
That was at the dealer.
I think timing was spot on.

I assumed it sold, unless the winner backed out after the auction closed.

I assumed it sold, unless the winner backed out after the auction closed.

Or it was shill bidded way up there hoping some sucker would think he's mising out on something and bang a high bid at the last second? Not saying that's what happened to that particular bike but there was no reason it should have sold for that much.

Your probably right, 7 k was a bit high for that bike.
