250r motor swap

Hi i have come across a cheap 1982 250r rolling chassis that is complete , good plastics ,tires,tank just no motor , could i put a 83 , 185s motor in it or a 200 and make a AUTO R i see they do it with the 200x , to make auto x's , what are your thoughts what would be involved, ? thanks
