Just bought my first 3wheeler and have no clue about them so figured I could learn here about them, and for $75 I'm not to worried if I bought something worthless. Not sure of the year but I know its a 200x. Everything seems to be there except for the rear fender and the tank is pretty bad on the inside.

Well tested the compression at the shop and its under where it needs to be. Put some oil in the cylinder over night hoping it may be stuck rings. If the compression doest come up ill have the engine pulled. Luckily i eork at a Honda dealership, but no one is familiar with older machines.

Welcome!

Looks like you've got a long road ahead of you. At least it looks like a solid machine to start with. My 86 wasn't quite this bad but it sure feels good to "save" another trike from a rusty death. Luckily parts for these 1st gens are cheap and readily available. Here and Ebay are some of the best sources you will find. Good luck and have fun.

Even the few shops that might have people that know the older stuff aren't going to take them in (you probably already know that) but most of us are the DIY types out of necessity or pride so enjoy the ride whether good or bad as we can all say (been there done that) in one respect or another. By the way Welcome aboard

There are plenty of parts available so you can get that up to speed in no time. Heck.........I can spend $75 at Dennys for dinner so you didn't spend that much. Have fun.
