hi, first post ever. i have a yamaha 200. i'm looking for help in identifying the year and model. i think its an '83 but i'm not sure. also, how do i figure out if its a ytm 200 K, L, or N? and finally, how do i identify the carb model?

More details needed. Is it electric start does it have reverse. Does it have Full suspension. is it chain or shaft drive. Carb model I believe on those was usually a mikuni vm 22

pull start, no reverse, chain drive, and it has a rigid back end.

it is a k or l or N it will vary pending on the year.

1983 is a k, an 84 is a l, and a 85 is an N The K has a slip in card whereas the L and N have a bolt on carb.
