I have a 1984 200es and I want to make it more powerful so I was thinking about putting a high compression piston on it but don't quite know what kind to get for that bike. Any suggestions just post

i would put a 10.25:1 piston in it but you will need to run at least 91 octane or E85 . . it will give you a little more power everywhere.

i would also do a compression test now and bore it out if the cyl is worn.

put some carb cleaner in the ports in the head when you get it off then look at the valves . . if they are weeping, they are leaking.

if you remove the stock silencer and install a straight thru one, it will have more mid and top power but it will be pretty loud.

you will need to rejet the carb if you make any of these changes.
