As many of you know I recently purchased a parts trike so that I can fix up my running trike. My running trike doesn't have a compression release valve. Instead there is a bolt jammed into the hole that the valve is supposed to reside in. My parts trike however does still have the valve and it seems to move freely. I would like to put the valve onto my trike so that it will be easier to start. That said how do I remove the valve from the parts trike without damaging it? Will i have to remove the top of the engine and swap it out that way or can I just "pop it out" and put it on my running engine. Valve is in the same location on both trikes just trying to find the best way to put it in. Also running trike(with missing valve) is an 82 Honda 200s. Parts trike(has the valve) is an 84 Honda 200m. Thanks in advance,Bill

The compression release lever just unbolts and slides out . To reinstall , the piston will need to be at top dead center so it will slide in with ease .
