I plan on spray painting my fenders on my 250sx after I get it all together and running. . What would be best sand paper and stuff to use? I've watched some videos that said start off with 80 grid sand paper then use 150 grid in opposite direction. . Then spray it down with water and dry it off.. then use Kraylon fusion for plastic about 3 coats should do it but wait 15 mins per coat. . Does this sound about right? Any other options would be help full to and pics.

I would scrape off all the dead stuff with a blade first. Then I probably would use 220, I sure wouldn't go under 150. Put about 3 good coats on, but wet sanding between the first two with about 600 grit. Automotive clear coat is nice to put a real gloss on it. I've used the regular Krylon with good results, and automotive Rustoleum too. Have never used the Fusion stuff but it can't hurt. They'll still look painted but sometimes that's the best you can do.
