Tri Moto Carb Help

Hello fellow 3 wheelers,

I have a 175 trip moto. There is a problem with the carb and it takes someone smarter than me to have the answer. I was wondering if anyone could help. The problem is in the carb because I can pour a small amount of gas into the air box and it will fire on the first pull every time, however it cannot create vacuum to pull the gas out of the bowl and through the jet into the carb. I have taken the carb off and cleaned everything, main jet, jet needle, needle jet, ect. I am unsure why it is not pulling a vacuum.

I would appreciate any help!

It might not be your carb you could also have an air leak some where like a bad crank seal, head gasket, or a jug gasket. This would cause a poor fuel/air ratio.

You need to check your reeds. That sounds to me like the reeds are malfunctioning.

Forsure if you haven't gotten Boyesen reeds yet go get some the are awesome.
