Hi guys I am just wondering what I should do for winter storage and just general maintenance? I want to prevent tank rust, etc...
Thanks :Bounce

Here's my routine. Top off the fuel tank. I use a mix with the fuel to deal with the ethanol. Can't remember the name off hand. Then I add fuel stabilizer. Run it for about 5 minutes and turn the fuel off at the tank. Let the engine die and drain any excess fuel from the bowl using the drain screw. I also use a battery tender for my electric starts. If you don't have tender take the battery out and store in the house or a heated room. Cold kills batteries. I will go out and start the machines as the warmer weather begins to approach. Mostly because I miss the sound and smell. This year though, I plan to be riding in the snow.

Grizzly is correct with the stabile and keep gas in the tank.....it prevents rust.
