Anyone else have a 200x with 350x suspension?

Do you mean you have 350x suspension on the front and the rear? complete front triples/forks and rear swingarm or just the shock?

Personally the 200x will handle better with 83-84 250r forks and triples on it. It uses all the same stuff as you 200x does. Just put your 200x steering stem into the 250r tripples and bolt back on.

For the rear 83 250R shock and lowered dog bone linkage. The 350x rear shock is a very heavy spring rate (round 750lbs) and provides most riders with a hard ride just jacking the rear up so it does not handle right (that's what rake and trail do). You want 83 R shock...it will bolt on. I've done it before and are doing it again. 83R shock has a spring rate of about 550lbs and will give you 10inches of travel in the rear also. Something a 350X will not do....not saying I know everything but I know how to make a 200x feel and handle like a 250R

So is that just the shock, or do you need the linkage and swingarm too?

My frame has been modded already for the 350x swinger and stuff. It is all on there already was just wondering if anyone else has done it.

Many people have done it. It was popular 30 years ago.

83R shocks require a different dog bone to be made...currently HRE and ME are the only ones who know what needs to be done so it's rake and trail is kept the same. Swingarms do not change...the 200x likes + 1.5 swinger I will add.

Enjoy kids.

For the rear 83 250R shock and lowered dog bone linkage. The 350x rear shock is a very heavy spring rate (round 750lbs) and provides most riders with a hard ride

SO, will the 250r shock bolt up or is there a spacific "Lowered dogbone linkage" that needs to be added (I am 6"3 280lbs so maybe the 350x's higher spring weight would work for my fatness better
