Welcome to 3ww. If you're going to be in the deep stuff, preventative maintenance is the key. Looking at things like brakes and bearings once a year probably isn't going to suffice. Good luck and post some pics.

This pic doesn't have the winch mounted.showing that it gives you the idea of what you can build.

If ya run her in the mud, make sure u clean the brakes out good, mud really tears them up fast

I put grease zerks between my axle bearings, left the seal out on the other side from the brake drums, and keep them pumped full of marine grease, the seals on that bearing seem to last longer without the outer seal too. Crankcase breather tubes run through fuel filters and up by the air intake, big knob on the idle adjustment so I can turn it up and float it, and a simple set of swamp lights. I'm about to get started on a top end rebuild, 10-1, 200x carb, uni filter, web stage2 cam, bigger valves and i'm going to port it, and do some bowk work. Rcm pipe showed up today. I'm also going to take that damn chain case-cover of. Both sides, all that thing does is collect mud, once it gets the tiniest leak. That's my so far, and plan for my 200e. :-)

I must say, if you are serious about any type of water crossing, the crankcase vent mod, is a must.
