It was either Hoosier's or one of his gang. We camped beside them.

Someday I'd like another QA50. They're so cool, with that little tiny pushrod top end and spark plug that looks like its threaded into the intake port!

Whoever it belonged to , I about sh!t when I saw it. I had an identical green one for my first minibike. My dad won it from a guy in a poker game for me. Unfortunately, that was in '76 and its long gone. I was broke or I would have bought it before I left.

Too cool, I only got a crummy 1977 Suzuki JR50

I was just shy of 4 years old and my father thought it was a good idea if my Uncle hooked a Ancra strap to the back to keep me from going too fast...man it was fun dragging his trailprotrailprotrailpro half way across the Mojave Desert! We still laugh about that bit, 3 years later I learned how to ride a BMX bike, yes we are a bit backwards as a family... fun times, simple times, good times.

The funny thing was my mom said let him go, he will be fine, my mom is soooo cool!

^^^ Stop whining about your adolescent bikes... I was about 10 years old before my parents allowed me to travel INSIDE the family car. CNY winters are a beotch when you are strapped to the roof.

Would've been heading back to Canada too if I wasn't so unsure about the border nazis. Turns out I could've snuck it across in plain site. She's a runner too, Hoosier started it for me.

I'll give you 5 times your initial cost for it, sight unseen. Can anyone lend me a buck?

It's not in very good condition right now. 15 years sitting under my house will do that. I plan on doing a full resto in the next 12 months but when I get it out I will post some pictures. It is the yellow model.
The best Christmas surprise ever. We were away on holidays and coming back Christmas eve. When we came in the house at about 9PM the phone was ringing. Mum rushed and picked it up and the bloke on the line said he had been calling all day and this was the last try. He said if he didn't get through this last time they were going to do a re draw. I'm just thinking now if we had been held up by a traffic light that would have been it for the QA50, for me anyway.
