Fall, a great excuse to use some of the machines. Firewood today. Finally got the oliver running. A slow "crawl" to get there but it sure is fun and rewarding.

The crawler and a problem limb along with my favorite felling axe.

That Oliver would be the perfect machine to clean my house. Very cool!

It is a nice size. The bigger t340 is undergoing some rehab on rollers and track

If I had a choice of occupations, running heavy equipment would be one.

I LOVE driving my backhoe around, loved my neighbors Bobcat and the Dozer he stored here.

Sooo much fun!!

Nice double bit and crawler! I recently bought a hewing axe head and double bit head at a garage sale. Would love to put period correct handles on them. What are those green things hanging on the trees, lol.

I really like the log arch. I didn't think a 200es could handle one, but the proof is in your picture. VERY nice home, I might add.

That arch thing looks pretty new, trying it out? My thought has always been to buck up and split in the bush so the mess stays there. Although it's always easier to split once the frost is in the wood. Nice seeing the BR working.

Thx triple

Agree iron, for the age it looks good.

Cool, arch is maybe 2 yrs old. I keep it in a shed so it seems to be holding up well. I move the logs to one spot. When I'm in the mood I grab one with the arch and take it to the wood shed to buck and split. I buck by hand hand crosscut saw. The horses are big and harder to lug around and get level in the bush. For me it is more fun to go and grab a log.

The br does fine with it. I don't beat it. If I'm in a rough spot I use a bigger quad or crawler to pull arch. The arch is also used for fetching with a winch for off trail work down slopes etc

Awesome stuff! When I checked this post earlier my 2 year old saw the crawler pic and started screaming "bubble"…because Rubble from the show Paw Patrol drives a bulldozer:)

Earlier this month we went to the Rough and Tumble antique and steam tractor show in Kinzers, PA. The place is amazing and most of the equipment was running; including a steam powered sawmill and bulldozing site (which had a few crawlers moving dirt)…again it was "Bubble, Bubble, Bubble!!!" for the bulldozers and "DOODOO!!!" over and over for the "choochoo" looking tractors. One lady asked me if he needed a diaper change:/

I'll post some pics if nobody minds a little hijacking...

Hijack on! I love old iron. Not familiar with "bubbles" as we just have 2 cats for kid substitution. As a plus, I don't have to wear a frozen dress this year for Halloween, (of course I want to! Lol)

Here's a few from yesterday's annual rustic camping trip…8 mile hike in, must construct own pack, can only use what you carry in, no matches/lighters, no flashlights, no store-bought tents. So glad it wasn't raining…

Wow, great pics and what fun!

Camping for me now involves a store bought tent, air mattress, sleeping bag and most recently a honda mini generator with a fan or heater.

My wife will be at the four seasons

Awesome Camino! Looks like one of regular canoe moose hunts, lol. It's a lot of work to live the simple life eh?
