Picked up a TRX 70 project with a Chinese engine. Not running and wiring is somewhat butchered.
My question is the honda CDI has a light green/red stripe wire that goes to a neutral safety switch.
What should I connect this wire to on the five wire china engine? Appreciate any advice!

I think that wire should probably stay open. It probably activates a rev limiter, the same way my TRX250 and other Hondas rev-limit in reverse. Get it running with that wire insulated, then try grounding it. Then you'll know for sure what it does.

Electric start? Lights? I have wiring diagrams for the different configurations.

It is electric start only no recoil or kicker.
Engine has five wires coming out of motor a yellow, white, green, black with red stripe, blue with white stripe

Now, for a neutral safety circuit, there should be a bundle of wires back by the sprocket. Find the wire that shows ground continuity when the shifter is in neutral. Route that wire to the ground side of the starter solenoid. That will enable the solenoid only when the tranny is in neural.

you can also go to www.tboltusa.com and talk to Vince he can help you with a harness that would work.
