I have been given a second LT-4WD. Machine has carb issues with the idle circuit (plugged internally), just like mine. Has anyone replaced the poorly designed original with a new/different carb? It came with a Mikuni VM24SS carb....(off memory...)

Also, this one the dash and HL's are as bright as mine are when it's low RPM/idling, but if you rev up the motor, they dim out to nothing. Any ideas? Regulator or stator issues I assume?

Also, sometimes the shifter doesn't return down, and it stays between gears. Is there a spring that is suppose to bring the shifter back to the "middle" position?

That is all...

On your lighting issue, how's your battery? Most bikes act just like that if you're trying to run them with a bad or no battery.

Yeah....put in a new battery and lights are now good.... And battery voltage on high rev is about 14V.
