Hey guys, picked up a new to me 86 200s and after looking everything over noticed that I may missing a hose connection under the carb. Below is a picture of what I'm talking about.

Do you know if I need this? If so, what does that hook up to?

Thanks in advance!

That is for a over-flow drain tube.It just drains to the ground. Just run a small piece of tube from that p.o.c to below the motor, for drainage. Good luck.

Thank you. I'm also not sure what this lever is for. It's not connected to anything, any help would be appreciated.

That is a decompression lever, it's typically hooked to a lever on the right side engine case. Same side as the kick start. It releases the compression in the engine to help with starting.

Thanks, mine is a pull start but I'll look into the lever you are talking about. I'm going to assume this is the reason why the pull is so hard on the bike sometimes. Can this cause any mechanical issues?

If it's a pull start them it will be more difficult without it for sure! Won't cause any mechanical issues.
