Bryan, I've seen a few conversions and they seem to work.....Then, maybe find the right motor or a Liflan 200cc, and you'll be styling!

A 200s engine works in 200x, people have dubed it the "Auto-X." Its not as fun and definitely not a racing bike. I dont see the point in swaping engines. And you will definitely want to look for a 200x motor to put back in it. But its 100% functional if the swap was done right.

Thanks, I am going to pick it up tonight. Not many of the 300 dollar runners around here. These things are getting harder to find.

For $300 it's worth it all day.

An auto-x is a nice machine and fills a "gap" in the Honda atc line up in my opinion. You get a nice, fully suspended trike with a auto clutch motor. It has it's place. If you're looking for full out top speed and power, then no, an auto-x isn't for you. But a fully capable trail rider that's easy to ride, it fits the bill well.

I do prefer my 200x over all of my bikes. But sometimes It would be nice to have an auto clutch on my x.

NOT A HIJACK, JUST GUAGING AUTO-X VS STOCK 200X
Would an AUTO-X with 200x head, aftermarket cam, a 10.25:1 high compression piston, aftermarket exhaust, run with a stock 200x on the trail? Assuming both riders are similar in skill (Not that good) ?

Yeah, after riding it I kind of think it was the trike they should have built. So easy to ride and full suspension. Maybe it cost more for the auto, not sure. I love this thing.

I do think when the going gets tough and you want to shift with no questions that you will be able to grab the gear the manual is better. If that makes any sense

True, but if it doesn't have a cup holder what should I do with my beverage?

The manual definitely feels better in the corners or when you want to break the rear wheels free......Glad to hear your having fun with your 200x....I sure miss mine! ha ha
